ANAHATA HEALING TOUCH   has come about through a number of years of study and practice. 

I am fortunate to have lived here on the North Shore of lake of Superior for 25 years. Prior to this time, I lived in the Twin Cities area and on the Iron Range in Minnesota. Most of my life I have been involved in some aspect of the medical field, ranging from a hospital transcriber, ward clerk, pharmacy technician, veterinary technician and First Responder/ski patrol.

I have always been drawn to helping and assisting people and believe Healing Touch is an incredibly effective way to facilitate this. Anahata is the Sanskrit name of the energy center located at our heart. All energy work comes from the heart and is done for the highest good of the client. My goal when working with a client is to empower them to activate the innate wisdom of their body. Our bodies want to be healthy and in a state of balance. Healing Touch assists the body to return to a state of balance on all levels - mentally, physically and spiritually.

I have been trained through Healing Touch International and am working on certification through them. I began my herbal studies in 1984 at Present Moment in Minneapolis and also thru the U of M in Minneapolis and their Open U Program. In addition, I have been a member of the Northwoods Homeopathy Study Group from 1995 to the present. I began making herbal salves in 1998 and they can be found in local stores.
